Sean has recently begun to sing. He will try to sing along with any song he hears and he gets the notes down pretty well. He knows when to go high and when to sing low.
I wanted to find a way to keep drawing and improving as an artist. Since my time at the computer is very limited and I can’t carry a big art book with me everywhere when I’m with the children, I bought a little note book for me to doodle in my spare moments. It has been really fun for me to be able to draw something little and not time consuming. Each of these only take a couple of min. and I try to bring my little note book wherever I go with the kids and sneak in a bit of drawing time.
Here are my little doodles this week. Enjoy.
Got some work done on the Amazon Priestess I’m working on.
First here is the original sketch
And the progress! The hair took awhile to do. Quite intricate and time consuming, but I’m very happy with the way it turned out.
I recently worked on a couple of pictures for a short children’s story. It was a lot of fun for me to work on this project and it helped me push myself as an artist a bit more then usual.
I hope you all enjoy it!
Weary knight returning home from battle.
Going to try to do some art work that is just for me. I want to expand my artistic skills.
This piece I decided to call the Amazon Priestess. I began drawing the background and I scanned the sketch I did not to long ago and will now begin drawing her into the picture. It will look awesome when I am done.
I will update my progress with this piece from time to time. I don’t know how quickly I can make progress as I will be doing it in my spare time…and I am very short on that recently. But I’m pretty excited about completing it!
Well I got nominated for the Lovely Blog Award from two different people in one day. HAPPY! And to accept it I have drawn up myself and my two kids in our most lovely poses.
