Well I got nominated for the Lovely Blog Award from two different people in one day. HAPPY! And to accept it I have drawn up myself and my two kids in our most lovely poses.

OK now for…
7 things you may not know about me
1. I’m a Japanese who has lived his whole life in Japan, but speaks fluent English. I speak it a lot better then my “native” language, Japanese.
2. I come from a big family. I have 5 brothers and 2 sisters. I am the second oldest.
3. When I was 4 or 5…I don’t really know, I had a open heart surgery. I had only a 50 percent or less chance at life. I lived…and I thrived. I became one of the most wild boys in my class.
4. I’m a terribly shy person in real life. Ok, not terribly shy, but I am kind of apprehensive when meeting someone for the first time.
5. I love drawing, but find it really hard to finish a picture just for the fun of it. I have to have something or someone I’m drawing for to get me to finish my pictures most of the time.
6. I think my art sucks really bad when I finish drawing it, but I look back at it a week or more later and think they are the best thing in the world. ha
7. I love computer games, but haven’t been able to play any in a looooooong time…sniff. There are better more important things in life at the moment.
So there you have it! Since I was nominated for two lovely blog awards I was thinking maybe I had to do 7 more things about myself, but FORGET IT!

Yeah! Number one is quite funny! I’m working really hard on improving my Japanese though. My whole education was in English and all my close friends speak English as well. In fact all my art and design work recently is with foreigners. But because I have to communicate more with my children’s friends parents and their teachers etc. I have to work harder to improve my Japanese.
