These are the pictures I drew for Kayden and Sean’s last birthdays. I hope you all enjoy viewing them as much as I did creating them.

I drew this last year for Sean’s first birthday. Drawn completely with colored pencil.

For Kayden’s birthday this year I decided to go digital. Drawn on my computer using painting programs “Sai”, “Adobe Photoshop” and my handy “Wacom intuous3″ tablet.

I was even able to capture the art process on video. Here it is for all you to watch. Enjoy.

We have a little turtle that has been hibernating through the winter and recently he woke up since it’s getting warmer.

Kayden cannot contain his emotions. It is quite funny.

Sometimes if he finishes all his food quickly or if he behaved extra well I will try to reward him with a special little treat.

I was watching my son doing his exercises at his swimming class and was worried that he was doing them all wrong. He would be looking at the pool totally spaced out and be doing some motions that they had already finished doing. Then he would look back at the teacher and then realize that he was doing the wrong action and start doing it right only to space out again and start doing something else.

I need to pee!

Kayden will go pee anywhere when he is outside. I don’t think there is anything wrong with a kid going pee out doors when he has no choice, but Kayden will do this even when there is a toilet a few paces away.

What can my kids be? Game characters.

I was just wondering what kind of computer game characters would my kids be. And that got me sketching out what you see above.

Kayden is always in your face about what he wants to do and if he does something naughty he’s not really sneaky about it. Quite blatant actually.

I thought a Barbarian or Warrior Character would do nicely for him.

Sean is definitely more sneaky and tries to do things behind your back. He’s quite and seems to disappear on you sometimes. You think he’s in the room and you look back to where he was playing happily just seconds before and he’s gone. You usually find him upstairs, in the toilet or even outside…Yikes!

He would definitely be an assassin like character in a game.

Give me a Kiss

Sean is so funny when he gives kisses. He opens his mouth as wide as he can as if he is trying to bite you are something. I’m trying to teach him to pucker his lips when he gives a kiss, but I don’t seem to be getting through to him. He just comes at you with teeth drool and all…GRAWAHHHH! Yikes! hahaha. Still so cute.

The other day Kayden was stuffing sand in my shoe and when I caught him doing it he burst into laughter. I got a good picture of him in his giddy mood due to his little prank. So we both benefited from it. ha!
